Wilsons® and Genevieve Magazine Pink Ball Foundation Squeeze up close and personal for Breast Cancer Awareness

  • Wilson’s joins Genevieve at the pink ball walk/run/cycle
  • Participants in the walk/run/cycle will be challenged to join the #Wilsonslifestyle, by upgrading their beverage choice. They will receive bottles of ice cold Wilson’s Pink Lemonade to refresh and rehydrate, all while looking fabulous

For over five years, Seun & Seyi Abolaji (The Wilson’s brothers) strived to increase the availability of fresh squeezed juice options for the Lagos and Nigerian population at large. And this fall, we are partnering with Genevieve Magazine to increase breast cancer awareness and challenge participants to upgrade their beverage choices by joining the #wilsonslifestyle.

Millions of Nigerians consume a variety of flavored drinks daily. Growing health consciousness is driving many away from drinks that are carbonated, artificially colored and sweetened – which have been linked to cancer.

This has given rise to the demand for naturally based fruit drinks. This trend will continue to grow in the general Nigerian market; and specifically, amongst the youths and health conscious adults.

We envision Wilson’s Juice Company’s fresh squeezed lemonades and juice products becoming the preferred choice in the market due to their natural and refreshing taste, cool packaging and association with the #Wilsonslifestyle.

During the Pink Ball Foundation activities (walk/run/cycle), participants should post on instagram, twitter or facebook with the hashtag #Wilsonslifestyle. Each instagram photo/post will be judged for creativity, originality and likes. The winner has the opportunity to receive a complimentary 12 pack of Wilson’s Pink lemonade.
